The things I see my competition do sometimes makes me wonder how they stay in business. I guarantee you that you will never see myself or one of my employees treating your yard during a monsoon. It literally rained almost 2 inches today. That w**d killer isn't going to kill anything, heck it was in the sewer drain 5 minutes later and in the Great Miami River 30 minutes later.😡

I realize we all remember our fathers cutting the grass like its a putting green but it's 2026. Every time we come to your house we recommend a proper mowing height of 3.5 inches if you want to have a nice lawn. Following recommendations will actually give you the results you desire.

With the amount of snow that has been on the grass for the last month we are going to be seeing Pink Snowmold in yards. Especially if you left your grass long on the final cut. It is very unsightly but generally grows out of it with fertilizer as it actively gets cut again in the spring. On rare occasions it does require some seeding.

As the season comes to an end there are going to be a few changes moving forward with our program. After 20 years of resisting adding more treatments to our program we are finally changing to 5 treatments. This will allow us to better take care of your w**ds throughout the summer and add a little extra root stability to your lawn. If you already get grub treatment in July you wont notice a change to your program. If you don't you will.

It's that time of year. Late summer sress is taking its toll. If you haven't had your lawn aerated in 2 years it's a good idea to do it. Open up the root system and let nutrients in! Now unlike my competitors who just want to charge you extra for seed i don't recommend overseed with it if you don't have patchy areas. If your yard is reasonably thick it's a waste of time and money to overseed.
