🎊🌟 MEMBERSHIP BLITZ SPOTLIGHT 🌟🎊

Southeast Missouri Young Life 💚

Southeast Missouri Young Life has been serving students in our area since 1983, with Cape Central High School as its flagship school for more than 40 years.

Over the years, their ministry has continued to grow. In 2020, Young Life College was added at Southeast Missouri State University, and in fall 2025, WYLDlife launched in Jackson to serve 5th and 6th grade students.

Through weekly clubs, campaigners Bible study groups, and adventure camps at Young Life properties across the country, Southeast Missouri Young Life creates spaces for students to build relationships, grow in their faith, and feel known and supported.

One SEMO Young Life College student shared, “Young Life College has given me a genuine loving family that I feel like I can count on. The leaders have been my mentors and it's helped me understand the Bible better and be able to discern what God is doing in my life.”

Their mission is simple: connecting young adults to Jesus and helping them grow in their faith. As they celebrate finishing their first year of WYLDlife at Jackson Middle School, Southeast Missouri Young Life is looking forward to meeting new friends and building connections through the Chamber.

🎊🌟 MEMBERSHIP BLITZ SPOTLIGHT 🌟🎊

AAA Insurance, Mona Neal 🚗🏡

Mona Neal began her role with Auto Club Enterprises, AAA, in January 2023 after deciding it was time for a career change following the birth of her daughter. With a degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a background in sales, Mona stepped into the insurance industry and quickly found a career she truly loves.

Today, Mona is a licensed sales agent in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Indiana. She is also life licensed and appointed, a four time Diamond Club qualifier in 2025, attended the ACE Sales Summit in the Bahamas in 2024, and is on track to attend the London Sales Summit this year.

Through AAA, Mona helps clients with auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance, and AAA roadside membership. More than anything, she wants people to know they are working with someone who cares about local service, trusted guidance, and helping families save their hard earned money.

Outside of her work, Mona is a wife and mother to her two daughters, Wynn Soraya and Aria Nazanin. She is looking forward to connecting with fellow Chamber members, meeting potential new clients, and serving the community for years to come.

Cookies by Rae LLC 🍪

Owned by Rachael Long, Cookies by Rae began as a creative hobby after a friend introduced her to sugar cookie decorating. What started as time spent practicing, experimenting, and creating from her home kitchen has grown into a thriving bakery serving clients across Southeast Missouri.

Today, Rachael creates custom decorated sugar cookies, gourmet cookies, cookie cakes, and other sweet treats for weddings, corporate events, real estate closings, birthdays, baby showers, pop ups, and more. Each custom order starts with a personalized design mockup, giving clients the chance to see their vision come to life before the baking even begins.

As the sole baker and decorator behind Cookies by Rae, Rachael puts care, creativity, and attention to detail into every order, whether it is a dozen cookies for a client gift or several hundred for a special event.

May 2026 marked the busiest month in Cookies by Rae history, and we are excited to celebrate this milestone as they join the Cape Chamber through our 2026 Spring Membership Blitz!

What a great morning at First Friday Coffee! ☕️💚

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a morning of connection, conversation, and a Legislative Recap from John Voss, Barry Hovis, and David Dolan. They shared insight on the work accomplished during the most recent legislative session, as well as details on the amendments that will appear on the ballot in August.

Congratulations to Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Missouri on the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the new Success Center in Cape Girardeau.

This new space represents so much more than a building. It represents opportunity, encouragement, and continued investment in the youth of our region. From academic support and mentorship to leadership development and enrichment programs, the Success Center will help kids and teens feel supported as they grow, learn, and reach their full potential.

We are proud to celebrate this milestone alongside the Boys & Girls Clubs team, community leaders, supporters, and everyone who helped make this vision a reality.

Welcome to the Cape Chamber, Trim, Doors, And More LLC! 💚

Founded by Savannah Aldredge in 2024, Trim, Doors, and More offers interior painting services and specializes in finishing trim work for new construction and remodels.

Savannah has also been a strong connector in the local contractor community, organizing the SEMO Contractors Networking and Trade Show earlier this year, which has since grown into Coffee for Contractors and upcoming benefit tournaments.
