Bigheaded Ants, one of the worst infestation I've seen to date. They colonize like fire ants, deep in the soil where regular spray applications can't get to the queen and nest. Multiplying quickly and becoming an indoor issue even faster. Regular pest control services can usually keep them out of the house, but I've seen issues even with professional services. Control can be difficult and take up to 3 to 4 weeks to get infestations eradicated.

These are White-footed ants. They form giant colonies very quickly with multiple queens. Usually, it's not a significant issue if you have professional control services, but this house has gone untreated for an extended period of time.

Gardenia bush under stress from insects. These are scale(mealy bugs) and usually an issue on a wide variety of plants and trees in our Southwest Florida landscapes. Most issues involving scale(mealy bugs, cotton scale etc.) happen during our two different dry season late fall/early winter and late winter/early spring or any time we are under drought conditions. If plant material is left untreated in some cases plant or tree death is possible.
