Laundry Tip! 🧼

To keep your clothes smelling their best, you have to keep your washing machine clean! Over time, detergent residue and hard water minerals can build up, leading to odors and less effective washing.

Here is how to give it an easy refresh: Start with an empty drum. Add 3 to 4 cups of white vinegar as the washer fills with hot water, let it agitate for a minute, then add ½ cup of baking soda. Let it soak for 30–60 minutes, then finish the cycle. This budget-friendly, natural trick kills germs and cuts through mildew odors!

Last but not least in our detergent series.

Part 3: Pods 🫧

Pods are all about convenience — pre-measured, mess-free, and easy to toss in and go. They're great for people who tend to over-pour liquid or powder detergent (saving you money long-term!).

Best for: everyday loads, small households, and anyone who wants a no-fuss laundry routine.

Just remember: always place pods at the bottom of the drum, not in with your clothes, for the best dissolve.

Next up in our soap opera (aka detergent lineup), we've got the OG powder detergent - the ultimate budget BFF! 🧂

Part 2: Powder Detergent 🧂

Powder detergent is the budget-friendly workhorse — it's great for heavily soiled loads and works especially well in hard water since it contains water softeners.

Best for: towels, bedding, and everyday grime like dirt and mud.

One thing to note: powder doesn't dissolve as well in cold water, so stick to warm or hot cycles for best results.
