Got the opportunity to polish this 1990 Peterbuilt Semi truck over the weekend.

The owner had the door and a few other spots repainted and wanted the rest of the truck to match without costing an arm and a leg.

That’s where TopKnotch stepped in and made all the difference.

Oxidation happens over time naturally, but it is amplified on single stage paints. Especially when harsh chemicals are used on a weekly basis for cleaning.

I was able to polish out all the oxidation and bring new life back into this thing, without rinsing the customers pockets like the body shop wanted to do.

Shim-Shimmahhh 😮‍💨
Got the privilege to spend a day polishing this S14 for a good friend Tanner Day . We decided not tocut it down first because the paint is fresh. All said and done we did an in depth jeweling stage on all the paintwork + full wheels off polish, ceramic coated calipers and wheel faces, and some light polishing within the engine bay.

Car will be fully ceramic coated after it gets back from PPF in the near future.

This car is a show stopper, so be sure to snap some pics if you see it at any upcoming car shows and send them our way!

Huge shoutout to Blurry Boys Media for talking me through the last few hours as the temperature sky rocketed. I was gassed and the small talk definitely helped me through it 😂

The wrap shops are gonna love this one 😂

Anyways, I took on a wrap job and needless to say…I won’t be doing that again anytime soon. LOL

All in all, it came out looking pretty great. Definitely some mess ups, and fixes along the way. And it isn’t perfect my ANY means. But for my second every full wrap, I cannot complain 🤷‍♂️

Happy to have gained the experience and taken the chance on myself. One day TopKnotch will offer these services to the masses. For now, we’re gonna stick to detailing 😂
