We have a project coming up in January (weather permitting) where we’ll have a large amount of fill to be trucked off site.

We will be selling this fill cheap- to cover the cost of trucking. This fill will not be suitable to build a structure on but will be a good cheap way to fill a hole.

The job is in the Canaan area and of course the trucking distance will dictate the delivery fee.

“Thank you for answering the phone” or “My dirt guy isn’t showing up, I need this dug now” are part of the conversations we have every week with the contractors who hire us for their excavation needs.

The demand the past few years for tradesman has been unprecedented and every day the self employed run into surprise set backs on thier projects while thier phone is exploding with requests for more work and customers aggravated because thier deadlines are not being met.

Make no mistake- the demand will slow down - or take a nose dive. Instead of the self employed tradesmen laying awake at night stressing about how they can possible meet the next deadline or show up to the kids next football game they will be laying there stressing how they’ll keep food on the table or keep that new truck that carries their livelihood from job site to job site.

Untill then, our pledge to our contractors is this: you won’t be waiting for us to meet that deadline. Whether the deadline is self-imposed by a demanding customer or you merely have to get an invoice in before the next billing cycle- we’ll have our part of the job done on time and on grade.

When things do slow down and the competion gets cut throat- we’ll still be here- with you- figuring out how we’re going to win the next bid so little Johnny can get his new football cleats for Christmas.
