A little transparency from behind the scenes of Kentucky Klean. š¤
First, I want to sincerely apologize for my recent absence and for any messages, calls, or responses that have been delayedāor may have unintentionally gone unanswered.
Burnout is real. And lately, the ebbs and flows of being a small business owner, a single mom, and simply a human being have taken a bigger toll on me than they ever have before.
I take so much pride in Kentucky Klean and in the relationships Iāve built with my clients, so I also recognize when my communication hasnāt reflected the level of professionalism I expect from myself. For that, I am genuinely sorry.
But I also want to reassure everyone of one thing: Iām not going anywhere, and Kentucky Klean isnāt going anywhere. š«§
Iām learning that I have to extend myself some of the same grace I so easily give to everyone else. Sometimes that means taking a personal day. Sometimes it means putting my phone down and answering the messages tomorrow. Sometimes it means choosing to be Mom first and business owner second. And Iām learning that none of those things make me any less dedicated to the business Iāve worked so hard to build.
And to any other woman, mother, or small business owner who may be running on empty right nowāthis is your reminder, too: you are allowed to rest without giving up. Taking care of yourself does not mean youāve stopped caring about everything youāve built.
Lastly, thank you. Truly. To every person who has booked with me, recommended Kentucky Klean, shared a post, been patient with me, supported my business, or simply continued to stick aroundāthank you.
Kentucky Klean would be nothing without the incredible people who continue to support this little business of mine, and I will never take that for granted. š¤
