Inside my head when I say, “I’m just going to deep clean the oven…”

What you don’t see is the spiral.
Because it’s never just the oven.

It starts with knocking out the inside.
Grates come out and get scrubbed.
Inside walls, corners, ceiling — all of it.
Door seals, hinges, vents.

Once the inside is finished, obviously the oven door comes off — which means I have to pull the oven out… and of course that means I have to clean behind it too.

Then I shift to the outside.
The top of the stove comes apart — burners off, caps off, drip pans soaking.
I lift the stove lid to clean underneath because now that I’m here, it has to be done.

Next up:
• K***s removed and cleaned
• Control panel wiped down
• Both sides of the oven — inside and out
• Storage/warming drawer emptied and cleaned

All I wanted was a clean oven.
What I got was a full appliance reset.

This is why resets are never “quick” in my head — once I start, everything needs peace restored.
