But on a serious note. You should always leave hornets be when ever possible. If they are not disturbing you let them do what they do.

Trade one devil for another???

Everyone hates bald faced hornets
But they also hate Gypsy moths and oak worms
These months are destroying forest all over Michigan.

Did you know hornets eat soft bodied insects and caterpillars and feed them to there young brood.
A hornets may kill and eat 2-3 per a day. Many more when they first emerge. 250-1000 hornets per nest.

I was able to relocate 1 of 3 nest. You can't save them all. But I let the ones go I can to do what they do....

Another city critter. Skunk under the crawl space. Sprayed and ran the lady right out of her house. Put 160 lbs of concrete down and closed him off. Fixing the holes under the foundation.
