At the Burleson Police Foundation, we believe in recognizing the extraordinary acts of kindness and dedication demonstrated by our officers. When an officer goes beyond their duty to serve and support our community, they are presented with a Beyond Service Coin.

Recently, we witnessed a remarkable act of compassion that truly embodies the spirit of our Beyond Service initiative. One of our officers noticed a homeless man outside the station who was without shoes. Instead of walking by, she took the time to ask for his shoe size, discovering that he wore the same size as she did. Without hesitation, she went to her car and retrieved a nearly new pair of tennis shoes she had worn only once and gifted them to him.

This officer did not perform this act for accolades or recognition. She did it because she genuinely cares about the well-being of our community members. Her selfless action and unwavering commitment to helping those in need exemplify what it means to go "Beyond Service."

🐾🧼 The Burleson Animal Shelter is currently in need of donations of blue Dawn Dishwashing Liquid.

This specific product helps the shelter by safely and effectively cleaning and deodorizing dog and cat crates, bedding, and toys, promoting a clean and healthy environment for their welfare.
