Position Overview:
• Pay: From $26.00 per hour
• Job Type: Full-time- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing septic and pump systems.
• Location: – Buena Vista, CO 81211, and daily driving to and from surrounding regions.

Valley Precast Pro Tip: Welcome to spring! It’s that time of year when things ramp up and workloads increase considerably. To help General Contractors, Subcontractors, and Homeowners navigate the process of completing a fully functioning septic system, Valley Precast has provided documentation designed to be a helpful resource along the way.

When supplies are delivered to the jobsite, some of our control panels will include paperwork designed to outline requirements and help ensure a smooth, efficient process from start to finish. This documentation is printed on caution-orange paper labeled “Important Information for Electricians and Builders” for easy visibility. We encourage you to take a few moments to review it, as it addresses common questions and provides helpful guidance to ensure everything goes according to plan.

Valley SI Precast- Wastewater Service Technician $26/hr
Competitive Pay, Full-Time

As a wastewater service technician, they will be responsible for servicing septic tanks and pump systems in the surrounding areas. Upon completion of training, they are expected to have basic knowledge of minor electrical wiring and plumbing and be capable of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing problems in septic tanks and pump systems.
The tech will interact with homeowners, engineers, and contractors, providing customer support and explaining individual onsite systems as needed. They must adhere to safety regulations, produce detailed service reports, and maintain a clean and stocked work truck and service area. The technician should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and be willing to take classes for industry knowledge and certification. Safe usage of power tools is required.

Qualifications:
Must have valid driver’s license.
Must be capable to drive up to a 150-mile radius, in a company vehicle, which may include overnight stays.
Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Must be customer service oriented and a team player.
Can reliably commute or planning to relocate to Buena Vista before starting work.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
