American cockroach can eat anything from crumbs to there own droppings's even eat paper an cardboard, if food get to hard to find they also can turn to eating them self's but can live with out food for a good amount of time. so the next time you think you cleaned up think again because they can live any where!!! they also can survive several weeks with out its head. living underneath are streets in sewers is where they can make a home to reproduce do to the warmth an moisture darkness an all the food they can ever want, making it super easy to get in to the pipes that lead in to your home.

ALSO DID YOU KNOW::
when you try to kill a roach with that paper shoe or etc. it send winds to the back of the feelers. those feelers have hair that send pulses to the core of the roach sending almost electric static to the legs an happens in a milli sec covering over 50x its own body length in just one sec.
