GROW FOR CHANGE is a 501c3 ORGANIZATION
“We promote highly dense mineral packed produce and sustainable farming practices which build food security around the globe, while alleviating depleted soils worldwide.
“Building the soils beneath our feet”
“Our vision is to initiate and teach sustainable solutions for ideal farming with a systematic approach, based on soil conditions, climate and othe
r factors. We will initiate a plan for each farm - increasing yield, crop quality, and reversing soil degradation.”
During the 20th century alone, the population in the world grew from 1.65 billion to 6 billion. We Research and Develop Formulations For Non Toxic Farming Agriculture Fertilizers and and 25 B EPA exempt safe Pest Controls
Since 2008 we have developed living soils worldwide. Feeding Future Generations
Our mission is to assist those who are teaching farmers globally to produce highly beneficial foods grown in living soils - our aim is to decrease global hunger. Our methods promote sustainable farming techniques, nutritional produce, and soil building applications. All are well tested and proven to be successful for many years. Feeding a world population of 9.1 billion people in 2050 would require raising overall food production by some 70 percent
To grow this food, farmers and ranchers worldwide use 180 million tons of nitrogen fertilizer every year - much of which eventually runs into our precious groundwater, ponds, lakes waterways and oceans, causing red tides - algal blooms which kill aquatic life and cause pollution. Conventional fertilizers no longer bring the crop yields they once did - unless measures are taken, much of the world’s present agricultural land will not be viable in the future to grow crops. Six of the ten most affected countries in the world are in Africa, where many soils are no longer able to sustain agriculture. Viable agricultural land and crop yields are decreasing, while populations are increasing at an alarming rate. Increasing applications of the same conventional synthetic products, trying to obtain higher yields, only further exhausts the soil; resulting in diminishing crop yields, shorter shelf life and the added burden of to increased use of fungicides, insecticides and herbicides. The soil biology essential to successful agriculture is lost due to inadequate farm practices and indiscriminate use of conventional fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides. Sustainable farming methods can reverse, reduce or eliminate the effects of this accumulated contamination. Increasing productivity by implementation of a balanced program of products to rebuild the soil, strengthen the plant, increase natural defensive responses in plants
Yet viable soils worldwide are disappearing at alarming rates. The use of toxic fertilizers and pest control is causing vast pollution in our soils, lakes rivers and oceans. Population growth is outpacing world food production - it is truly time for change. Farmers worldwide are seeking ways to improve their harvest yields, crop quality, and plant uniformity. Additionally they seek to save water, reduce fertilizer and pesticide use, and improving their largest investment – their farm. Unfortunately the use of conventional chemical fertilizers over the long term have had an adverse effect to the health of the soil - depleting it of organic matter, and reducing the biological activity. Depletion of beneficial microbial activity leads directly to less pathogen resistance, which results in plant disease and crop decline. The application of liquid organic and sustainable fertilizers on crops worldwide is environmentally friendly and a safer and more effective alternative to chemical fertilizer, building soil while growing sustainable crops. As the balance returns, healthier soil grows healthier plants. This creates better yield, and plants less prone to pests, fungus and disease. The purpose of sustainable agriculture is to develop farming systems which are productive, profitable, conserve energy and natural resources, are environmentally sound, and which ensure food safety and quality. Grow for Change Is a global access for sustainable agriculture education while implementing organic growing principles, and soil building methods, in classroom, along with hands on growing experience.
