🧽 CLEANING ITEM OF THE WEEK 🧽
If your toilet has THAT stubborn ring… grab a pumice stone! 👀
What is it?
A pumice stone is a lightweight, porous volcanic rock that can be used as a gentle abrasive to help remove stubborn mineral buildup, rust stains, and grime from certain hard surfaces.
✨ Why we love it:
* Great for hard-water stains — especially those stubborn rings inside toilets.
* Helps remove rust & mineral buildup that regular cleaners may struggle with.
* No harsh chemicals needed for the scrubbing action itself.
* Inexpensive & reusable — one little stone can go a long way.
* Works especially well when you need a little extra elbow grease without reaching for super harsh products.
🚽 Where can you use it?
A pumice stone is commonly useful on:
* Toilets — especially porcelain bowls
* Porcelain sinks
* Some ceramic surfaces
* Mineral buildup around certain fixtures
⚠️ Cleaner tip!
Always wet the pumice stone AND the surface before using it. Keep everything wet while scrubbing and use light pressure.
And most importantly: don’t use pumice on delicate, polished, painted, acrylic, fiberglass, glass, stainless steel, or easily scratched surfaces. When in doubt, test a small inconspicuous area first.
💡 Fun fact:
Pumice is actually volcanic rock! It forms when lava cools rapidly and traps gas bubbles inside, which is what gives it that lightweight, porous texture.
And YES—we have a pumice stone for THAT! 😉 Don’t worry, we never cross-contaminate cleaning tools between homes. Every client’s home gets its own clean, dedicated tools! 🧼✨
