BBQing with friends and family is one our favorite ways to spend the weekend. Mind you, there is always 'one' person (who will remain nameless) who gets BBQ sauce absolutely EVERYWHERE!

If you have one of those kids in your orbit, bring all of your laundry to at the Shoppes at Lac De Ville and use our high-capacity, high-efficiency washers and dryers to get your dirties done while you shop.

Today, we celebrate and thank our supply chain partners. Those who transport our laundry supplies, our snacks, parts for our machines etc. We don't often think about the crucial part they play in all of our businesses until they are limited (think covid and now, the oil crisis). 🚚

When to wash: Kitchen Edition

Your kitchen linens do more than just look good. They handle spills, germs, and daily messes. Here’s when to give them a proper wash:

🧽 Dishcloths: After every day of use (or sooner if they smell or feel damp)
🍴 Dish Towels: Every 1–2 days, especially if used for drying hands or dishes
👩‍🍳 Aprons: After 2–3 uses or immediately after messy cooking sessions
🧼 Cleaning Cloths & Sponges: Wash or replace frequently—these hold the most bacteria! Some experts suggest having two or three on hand and cycle them by throwing one in the dishwasher once it's ready for a good clean (just be sure to anchor it in place).

⚠️ Odor is a clear sign it’s time for a wash. (You know, like when you pick up the dirty, smelly socks that boys wear day after day until they could practically march their own way to the washer.)

Continuing our 'When to Wash' series... When Should You Wash Your Sportswear? 🏃‍♀️

If you’re hitting the gym, the track, or the field, your workout gear works just as hard as you do. But when is it actually time to toss it in the wash?

💦 After every intense workout. Heavy sweat means bacteria builds up quickly.
👕 After 1–2 light workouts. If you barely broke a sweat, you may get another wear. Might want to give it the 'smell test' though.
⏱ Right after practice or games. Sports uniforms should be washed ASAP to prevent odors from setting in.
🧦 Always wash socks & underlayers after one use. These trap the most sweat and bacteria.

✨ Pro Tip: Turn activewear inside out and wash in cold water to help remove sweat and protect the fabric.
