My clients never need to say “hey Katie, there’s a spot on the wall, do you mind?” Because my freaking eagle eyes saw it the second I walked in.
I always do my best to maintain your home. I take pride in my job and I do my best every time, even if I’m exhausted, sweaty, and have a headache. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Good morning!! 2 maintenance cleans today. It’s hard to focus on work when I have the world’s cutest kitten.

We welcomed a new foster kitten into the crew yesterday and it’s one thing I never regret. It’s so much freaking work but it’s the work you happily do because you know you’re helping and because kittens are literally the cutest creature ever.

He has siblings, they just cannot catch them. Once they get his siblings, we will foster them too.
This little guy wandered away from his mama and their colony and was found by a dog! The dog didn’t hurt him at all, he just carried him in his mouth and took him to his human owners. Isn’t that sweet? A dog knew “hey this baby shouldn’t be alone and I don’t know why it looks like a weird dog but I’ll go give it to dad.”
Animals are magical. We don’t deserve them. 🥹🥹🥹🥹

Here he is sleeping in my hoodie. We tried to put him down while we ate dinner but he wasn’t having it. He cried. So I got a hoodie, put it on backwards and put him in the hood. Hands free for me and he fell fast asleep in there. I ate dinner, he napped, it was a win win.

My clients are the best. They always bring in the supplies that I will need and set them up for me. They always leave the house while I’m cleaning so that I have the place to myself. And they are overall just amazing. I really really really appreciate my clients like this.

Shish*to peppers are delicious. I bought these from Pettingill's Fruit Farm and I’m going back for more asap. They were so good. Just cooked them in some oil til blistered and then salted!

I do it for the clients that say “ohhhhh I’m so glad you’re here!” when I walk in. 😻
I do it for the clients that have had knee/back/any surgeries and can’t do it for themselves. 🏥
I do it for the clients who realize I’m a real person with a real life and real problems and sometimes I need grace too. ☮️
I do it for the clients who have worked hard their whole lives and are finally letting someone take a turn with the cleaning. 🧹

The point is. The cleaning part might be the same. But the back story never is. I love what I do. I love being able to help. I love being able to earn money while also building a clientele that values me as much as I value them. Cleaning is much more than just a crumb-free counter. ✨
