Tracy Talk. Throw away the trash in your shower and bathtub!!!

If there are multiple bottles of the same product there shouldn’t be. You need face cleaner, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and a razor. If you have empty bottles or bottles you don’t use, THROW THEM AWAY….or store some in a cabinet to replace an empty when you have one. If you have 14 razors, pick one.

This makes it look and feel far less chaotic. It also makes cleaning the shower easier when you don’t have to move 100 empty and unused bottles out of the way first. Also, water settles under all those bottles and this is where your hard water deposits start……and mold and mildew. Ewww

This is my shower. This is all I have. And for whatever reason Lonnie has 2 shampoos in here. That will be investigated shortly.

Every time you use your vacuum, clean it out. Canister and filters. Guess what???? Warm soapy water!!!!! Then rinse thoroughly and sit it out to dry THOROUGHLY.

This keeps it sucking like it should AND keeps your vacuum exhaust from stinking like a wet goats ass!!!!

The table on my front porch has canisters and filters drying at all times because I live by this rule.

When you mop your floor, this is the point where you change your mop water. A little cloudy. Dump it, rinse it, and fill it back up. Otherwise, you’re just moving dirt from one area of the house to the next.

Wanna know what I mop with? Dawn dish soap with a splash of bleach. Unless you have hardwood floors…..I have to switch up for those. But the dirty water concept remains.

Anyways, this guy came over from the house next door wanting to play. I did take a little break to entertain him for a minute. He was the sweetest.

Have your top shelves been dusted lately? These have!!

This is one of my hard resets I’m doing. They had a house cleaner who just wasn’t doing her job. But now I’m in the picture and I’m working my way thru it.

I made 100 trips up and down a ladder today carrying each snow globe down individually, then to the kitchen to be cleaned properly, then back up. I’m not scared of the hard stuff. Not even a little.

Do y’all see these little rust spots in the bottom of this sink? It’s hard to get a good pic. But anyways, this is caused by leaving dirty dishes and moisture sitting in a sink overnight.

Wash all your dishes before you go to bed. Then drain the water and rinse it out. I can fix the sink but it’s easier to just not cause it in the first place.

And spoiler alert: this is my sink. Sometimes even I’m too tired to get it done. Not very often…..but ever great once in a while.

I nearly had a meltdown today. I realized my roll of cleaning towels was missing and I didn’t have any left in my cleaning caddy. 😑 and I’m booked the next 5 days.

Yall, I’m weird about my rags. I can NOT clean without this specific rag. They’re auto detailing rags and they are chefs kiss for cleaning houses.

We had already been to town twice when I noticed. But my husband agreed to drive me 30 miles to wal mart anyways so I wouldn’t melt down.

Then we get to wal mart and I nearly had a meltdown again because they changed the color of the rags. So i was looking for my normal blue rag thinking they’re out. 😳 then I realize they’re yellow now. Why would they throw me into a panic changing colors like that.

Anyways, crisis diverted. Get you a husband that drives you 30 miles one way over some cleaning rags. ❤️

It’s time for your next tip. I’m going to start calling it Tracy Talk.

So here it is. Your Tracy talk for the day. Wash dishes as you go. Remember that sink full of hot soapy water I told you about? This is where she shines. Wash dishes as you get them dirty. I rarely use my dishwasher. I wash dishes as they become dirty then stack them. Before I go to bed I dry them and put them up.

It looks like I’m playing Jenga with dishes. How many can I stack before it falls.

If you let food and drinks sit in kitchenware it sticks and becomes a bigger headache later. Not to mention the insects and rodents dirty dishes call to your home. Ewww

Trust me, wash them as you go.

It’s time for another cleaning tip.

Do 1 load of laundry a day. Start to finish. Wash, dry, fold, hang, put away. Dirty clothes carry germs from everywhere you’ve been while wearing them. Ewwww

Unless you live alone, then you can do it every other day. But normal homes with 2 or more people have at least 1 load of laundry a day.

Even if you put it in the washer at night then the dryer in the morning. But don’t let it sit longer than that or it will sour.
