🧼 Cleaning Term - Biofilm 🧼

Have you ever noticed a pink or orange residue around your shower drain or sink? That’s usually biofilm, a thin layer of bacteria that thrives in damp environments.

Unlike regular dirt, biofilm can’t simply be sprayed away. It needs to be physically scrubbed to break it up before it’s completely removed.

It’s most commonly found in areas like shower corners, sink drains, and toilet bowls. Keeping these areas clean helps prevent buildup and keeps your bathroom looking its best!

It’s my birthday! 🥳

The little girl in these photos would’ve never dreamed of all the things that have happened the past year and a half since opening Bless This Mess. This started out as a dream and has turned into so many answered prayers, and I’m so incredibly grateful and humbled that The Lord has led me down this path.

Bless This Mess has become so much more than just a business to me. I’ve met so many amazing people along the way and have been able to build something from the ground up that I can be truly proud of.

One of the biggest blessings has been getting to grow this business alongside my husband. Having him step into this with me has been just amazing, and I’m so thrilled to see what the future holds!

Odoban is 100% the star of my cleaning products! 🤩

It is one of the most versatile cleaners and can be used for many things including disinfecting just about any surface, as a fabric/upholstery refresher, and even in your car! It’s especially great for removing pet odors and I love to mop floors with it as well!

🧼 Cleaning Term: Dwell Time 🧼

Dwell time is the amount of time a cleaning product needs to stay wet on a surface before it can properly do its job.

Different products need different amounts of time:
• Disinfectants need enough wet contact time to kill germs as directed on the label.
• Degreasers need time to break down stubborn grease and buildup.
• Bathroom cleaners need time to loosen soap scum and hard water deposits.

A common misconception is that more scrubbing means a better clean, but sometimes the best thing you can do is simply give your product time to work.

Next time you clean something, try spraying, waiting, and then wiping. Your arms might thank you. 😉

Little do they know, Simba was a bottle fed kitten and still likes to suck on his humans thumbs any chance he gets. He’s just a big baby.”
