Policies

Standard Wash, Dry & Fold Service
• A minimum of two (2) bags is required per pickup.
• Each bag must not exceed safe handling weight limits.
• Overweight or overfilled bags may be counted as two (2) bags.

Damage & Liability Policy
• We are not responsible for items left in pockets.
• We are not responsible for normal wear and tear during washing or drying.
• We are not responsible for color bleeding unless negligence can be proven.
• Any items believed to be lost or damaged must be reported within 12–24 hours of delivery.

Oversized & Specialty Items

The following items are priced separately from standard 13-gallon laundry bags but must have the 2 bag minimum order

Sheet Policy
• Sheet sets can be added to any bag order
• Sheet-only orders require a $25 minimum

Additional policies:
• Bags must tie closed without stretching.
• Overfilled bags may be counted as two bags.
• Wet laundry may incur an additional $15 handling fee.

Stain Policy
• Stain removal is not guaranteed.
• Pre-existing stains may become permanent after washing or drying.
• Customers should identify heavy stains or special care instructions before pickup.

Hanger Policy
• Clothes are folded by default.
• Items can be hung if hangers are provided with the laundry at no extra cost.
• If we supply hangers, a $0.15 fee per hanger will be added.

Special Handling

Items requiring special care must be clearly labeled and separated, including:
• Special detergents
• Air drying
• Delicate cycles
• Specific washing instructions

Additional charges may apply for special handling requests.

Hygiene & Contamination Policy

For health and safety reasons:
• We reserve the right to refuse items containing biohazards (f***s, excessive bodily fluids, etc.).
• Laundry containing excessive dirt, pet hair, or strong odors may incur a $20 deep-cleaning fee.

Payment Terms
• Payment is due prior to or at the time of delivery, unless otherwise agreed.
• Late payments may result in suspension of future services and/or a $20 late fee.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service if preparation guidelines or service policies are not met.

Turnaround Time Policy
• Standard turnaround time is 24–48 hours from pickup.
• Larger orders (4+ bags) may require additional time.
• Rush or same-day service, when available, may incur an additional $15-$25 fee.

To ensure a smooth pickup and washing process, please review the following requirements:

• All standard clothing items must be placed in tied 13-gallon trash bags and placed in a clearly accessible pickup location.
• Bags must not be ripped, damaged, or overfilled. Overstuffed or compromised bags may be declined or additional fee added.
• Bedding (full size and larger), blankets, and heavy-duty items are exempt from the 13-gallon bag requirement and should be placed in a larger trash bag.
• A minimum of two (2) 13-gallon trash bags is required per scheduled pickup.
• Any items requiring special washing instructions must be placed in a separate bag with written instructions included. This bag may be placed inside a larger trash bag.

Failure to follow these requirements may result in delayed service, additional fees, or refusal of pickup.

Hi, I’m Megan, owner of Hassle-Free Laundry. I started this laundry service to help busy individuals, families and businesses take one more thing off their plate. I know how overwhelming laundry can get, especially with work, kids, and everyday life. My goal is simple — provide dependable, high-quality wash-and-fold service with care, consistency, and convenience you can trust.

Right now I’m just going to be taking orders here on Facebook. My FUTURE GOAL is to have more clients and a website up and running that I will attach to this page!
