This will be a critical week for US ALL. I pray that the week will end with the best possible outcome. As many weeks do bring their challenges..the week END will tell the tale of our efforts. The finish line is at hand, we only have to run the race. This leg will be a chance to once again “show up”. So please, exercise you right to do so. I have worked several voting polls in the past years, thankfully. I have noticed a general lackadaisical approach by many to this Earned Right. It is easy to think that the right or God intended outcome will be. Sometimes, given free will and the hard earned Right to act in our own defense. We can actually accomplish…by design, the intended outcome. Satan has plenty of advocates working in his favor. What are your wishes? What do you see as proper? What will you do to protect your world, your family, your way of life. Will you go out of your way to make a stand or will you roll on down the road, with someone else behind the wheel? Make a stand, make a decision, take control of your life while you still have that choice and the voice. May God bless us all and have mercy on the United States of America.

So amazing that the slightest weather correction can alter your whole attitude. We have enjoyed such a great weather pattern for an Indiana summer. Plentiful sunshine, rain when we needed it…a great growing year for farmers and gardeners alike. Swimming has been a wonderful experience this year and chemistry care has been pretty kind to us all. With the calendar winding into the throws of the fall season we face the transition months of hibernation preparedness. Even tho it’s seeems that Summer has just gotten started, we share a common reality. Time marches on and we are blessed to witness another Fall in the Midwest. GB’s is preparing to begin its “winterization” schedule for pools and equipment. We will actually be closing pools down this first week in September and will hope to conclude these offered services by the Mid October dates this year. After 36 seasons we have found that early planning serves us best and hope that if you wish to have us close your season down that you contact us early for a possible closing as those spots are limited thru mid October only. Warmest wishes and best of luck to you all always. Thank you all for a great season and may God bless you all.

It’s Amazing, just how the Seasons roll into one another and the Years get by us. As of May 1st GB’s has reached another milestone. It was May 1st of 1988 that our story began and we started serving our area in the pool and Spa industry. We have enjoyed many great relationships with some wonderful customers and vendors in the past “ 36 “ years. Some families we are now serving into third generations. We have served and supplied your Pools, Spas, Saunas,Steam baths, Whirlpools, Underwater Treadmills, Baptistries and Fonts. To that we offer our deepest Thanks! God has been so good to us. As anyone who has ever owned a business or tried to provide service to anyone will come to know, it isn’t easy and some days it would be so much easier to just punch someone else’s clock. Clock out at 5:00 and leave it all at work. Go thru the motions and expect your just reward on payday, without worry of profit or loss. Business is not an “as usual” thing when you are self employed…nor should it be. It is much like having another child or dependent, whose welfare and success is riding heavily on your efforts. We have witnessed several competitors come into and leave the field of play. You can do everything right and still stumble. Truth is GB 's SPA SHOP INC. Has been a partnership. The partnership between loyal customers and believers who have helped us achieve and sustain our business for 3 6 years. Spanning an area of about 30 counties across Indiana and Illinois and assisting some of the referring 9 companies with their customers needs and Warranty concerns. As a valued customer once reflected “it’s not how many you serve, but how many you keep”! Special thanks to our past employees who have cared enough to help us achieve our goals and keep us rolling (Still pinching myself). Yes, we are still at it and also learning to enjoy some much needed time off along the way as well. For your patronage and belief in our best efforts to serve you all….again, we offer our humble,Thanks. We appreciate your patience and your business. We couldn’t have done it without you all ❤️

Ok, so the openings have begun and the weather has been kind to us so far. You may be thinking about opening your pool up to get your Summer on. Well, if you are having the opening done professionally keep in mind some basics. Try to make an easy to access parking space for crew and their supplies, walking from the neighbors across the road can take valuable / billable time. Save time and money for opening crews by having your pool water at “summer circulation level”. Locate and have your deck and mechanical equipment accessible. Be courteous and remove any and all pet droppings from pool deck and work areas.. you don’t need them ending up in your pool or being stepped in. If you are using chemistry that you have on hand…have it there and on hand. Reminder that last years Liquid Chlorine is probably not going to have much effect, it gets weak due to gassing off. Have your yard access ways open and useable, we are not there to jump a fence or put your snow blower away for you. It’s always a good idea to have a functioning garden hose available too. Last but not least, make sure that your power supply to equipment is set for use. Just a few ways to help you save time and $$. Best wishes to you all for a safe and efficient season.

PSA: GB’s will be closing our service department down for a few weeks. This will give us an opportunity to take some much needed personal time off to “reboot” before starting our Spring pool season. We have always remained open and active during the winter season. Serving the majority of 30 counties between Indiana and Illinois has been interesting, busy and challenging. However, as of January 9th the store and services will be suspended for the first time in 35 years. We plan on resuming operations beginning The first week of April. We are sorry if this is an inconvenience, but we hope that you understand our attempt to take care of personal health as well! Best wishes to you all, and Thanks for your business and understanding. 🙂

It is with a humble and appreciative heart that we reflect on 2022 and say goodbye to so many people that we lost in the year. The memories that we made and the friends whom we also gathered with are treasures that we will carry with us as we move forward. Our world is constantly changing and there is much work to do. We are not without our challenges and yet it gives us peace knowing that we have “our Village” and don’t stand alone in our tomorrows. We are all Broken and yet worthy of Gods grace, which he richly blesses us with. No, there are no promises of earthly wealth, only what we sew, shall we hope to gather. It is our extreme hopes that 2023 will be a kind and deserving year for you all. GB’s will be celebrating our 35th year anniversary in May. It is because of Great customer support and Gods guiding hands that we can witness this privilege. We thank you all and wish you continued good health and prosperity in the New Year. Be an example for our young and be kind to one another.
