We are... Goal Oriented, Results Driven, and Quality is Our First Priority. We have operated from a platform of stability in three states as seasons in our lives have changed. We currently reside and perform services for clients in the Manatee County area where Shane was raised until his departure on a four year Naval enlistment just a few weeks after graduating from Southeast High School. es!) Now almost 25 years later we are happy to have made the full circle journey home, a return to paradise. Shane met Deborah in East Tennessee where she was raised. Together when our small town suffered many manufacturing job loses due to outsourcing and company spin-off we departed for the greener construction pastures of Coastal Southeastern North Carolina. After a number of years the rest of the country saw a decline in construction which flooded the local market with labor so the family moved inland to a job with state government in an associated field. When state budgets removed all advancement opportunities it was decided that if we were going to return to self employment we needed to go somewhere we had passion for. So every sole in our family agreed that should be Manatee County. As a business decision and survival necessity Deborah transferred with Lowes and Shane resigned his position. Later in 2012 Shane spent six months with Lowes as a delivery driver both on box truck and truck mounted forklift truck delivering and setting up appliances and home improvement merchandise while honing his customer service skills. Deborah spent 2012 and much of 2013 chasing corporate promises of commissioned sales glory with a bedding company, a florist, and automobile dealer ship. When at the dealership her first month she sold six cars and at the end of the month the manager said great job Deborah! Four days later she was let go for insufficient sales performance. She had one house she was already cleaning once a week on her one day off. She was broken from the car sales experience and after a two day rest proclaimed it was time for us to re-establish the Marlow's HM&C brand. Our skills remain, our tools were in storage, and our hearts were ready for the challenges we have tremendous experience with: Building a sustainable customer base.
