First, we want to thank you for the opportunity to serve you!
With multiple cases of Coronavirus now in Bozeman we will be implementing new and more strict guidelines to maintain the safest and highest quality service possible during this time.
As you know COVOD-19 attacks our lungs and can result in severe viral pneumonia. Indoor air pollution and poor indoor air quality (dust, debris, dander build up etc.) can not only compromise individuals suffering from respiratory illness – but can help carry/transmit virus attached to dust, debris and dander in the home. According the American Lung association, “Poor indoor air quality can cause or contribute to the development of infections.”
Not everyone can or has time to clean their own homes – this makes professional cleaning more important than ever right now! Many of our clients rely on regular services. Our work in the community is vital and essential – especially right now.
COVID – 19 will not be going away after the “lockdown” is over. This is a matter that is going to require, we as the professional cleaning industry – as well as society in general, to quickly adapt to and more forward with new protocols as the threat will be with us for quite some time. Our clients rely on the services of professional house cleaners each day, especially now when indoor air quality and sanitization of our homes and businesses is the only line of defense per CDC guidelines and recommendations. It has been stated that house cleaners are “overwhelmingly essential” and that we are an essential service trade.
House cleaning is the most essential service provided to the public during times like these. According to the American Lung Association and CDC, having a clean-living environment greatly increases the viability and resilience of health within your home and business. Especially while facing an epidemic of lung disease such as COVID-19.
It is important that we as a community are cautious and thoughtful in our approach to addressing this virus, but also just as important that we do not overreact or panic in response. We feel confident in the work we do and take pride in offering these services. It is essential we also stay healthy. So….
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU!
1) Please inform us if someone in your household has a fever or is in anyway sick. We will need to postpone your visit until said person(s) are feeling better or has not ran a fever in the past 72 hrs.
2) We are asking all clients to provide their own vacuums to lessen and eliminate the risk of cross contamination between homes. Please let us know if you do not have a vacuum.
3) We ask that all you keep a 6’ distance as recommended by the CDC. We ask all clients reframe from greeting at the door, please leave the door unlocked and we will let ourselves in.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
1) Taking steps to avoid cross contamination.
a. Disinfecting all supplies, equipment and kits in your home after cleaning.
b. Continuously change out rags and mop pads. ALL RAGS ARE BRAND NEW!
c. Wearing gloves for entire cleaning
d. Change out socks between every clean or wear booties (These are increasingly hard to find) So we may use disposable bags.
e. Frequent handwashing
f. Special attention is being paid to additional sanitation in high touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, handles etc.
2) We are staying home if we show any sign of illness, especially fever.
a. We will be taking our temperature every day before work
b. We will stay home if we have a sore throat, or cough.
We are following CDC guidelines and will notify all clients as new developments come about in order to serve you and your businesses here in Bozeman! Thank you again for trusting us as your cleaning providers!
