The Laundry Basket has partnered with United Way of Southern Kentucky to create a community reading corner—located within the laundromat. The kids zone area is a dedicated space for entertainment and education— while under parent supervision. This provides a safe, fun area for families to wait on their laundry.

United Way will host a monthly story time, led by volunteers and collaboration with our local community. Come see us at The Laundry Basket this Saturday for a surprise guest from SKYTC!

We’re terribly saddened to hear this tragedy but it speaks volumes of Sarah’s character. Sarah was a former employee at The Laundry Basket BGKY and would always brighten my day. She didn’t hesitate to lend a hand and would always put others before herself. We will be thinking of you and your family and sending our strength during these times. 💔
