Do you know how to use a fire extinguisher? 🧯 In the event of a small, manageable fire, knowing how to use a fire extinguisher can make a huge difference. Here’s what 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒 stands for:

🧯 𝐏 – Pull the pin.
🎯 𝐀 – Aim the nozzle at the base of the fire.
🚒 𝐒 – Squeeze the handle.
🔥 𝐒 – Sweep from side to side at the base of the fire.

Remember that your safety always comes first, and only attempt to extinguish a small fire if you have the proper extinguisher, a clear escape route, and feel safe doing so. If the fire spreads or you’re unsure, evacuate immediately and call 911.

At Servpro of Warren County, we believe fire safety starts with preparation. Save or share this post as a helpful reminder for 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡! 🔥

We are happy to introduce a familiar face, Hallie Adams, who has been an important part of our team for nearly three years as our Business Development Representative! Hallie loves that working in the restoration industry means no two days are ever the same. One of her favorite parts of the job is visiting project sites and meeting the clients who trust us to restore their homes and businesses.

She is originally from Bowling Green and she graduated from Western Kentucky University with her Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration. She still lives locally with her boyfriend, Nick, and their two dogs, Piper and Millie. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, gardening, working out and cooking!

We’re grateful to have Hallie on our team and appreciate the relationships she continues to build throughout our community! 💚

Our team was honored to be one of the food sponsors for the Sixth Annual Police vs. Fire Softball Game at Bowling Green High School! 🥎 This year's event was a fundraiser for Runs for Reagan, a sweet 2-year-old who is waiting for a heart transplant. We were happy to be a part of raising funds for her and her family during their journey! 💚

Thank you to Bowling Green Fire Department and The Bowling Green Police Department for always going above and beyond to help our community!

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)'s Topic for Fire Safety Month this year is how to prevent fires from charging devices and items!

Some of the best practices for safely charging your devices is:

- Invest in a high quality charger.
- Always place your item on a flat, hard surface.
- Unplug your device once it is fully charged.
- Charge all tools, e-bikes, and scooters outside.
- Stop using your device if it gets hot, starts swelling, smells strange, leaks, makes smoke, or makes strange sounds.
- While on a plane, make sure to charge devices in sight, and never charge an e-cigarette or v**e.
