Necessity is the mother of invention. As a business Student at Portland State University I lived 70 miles from my favorite resort Mt Hood Meadows. Working part time as an instructor to get a season pass and stacking my full time school schedule into 2 or 3 days are all symptoms of an addiction to skiing. The necessity and addiction was further fueled by the opportunity to compete in biathlon compe

titions with the National Guard. As a typical college student I could not afford the 140 mile round trip commute to the Mountain. I tirelessly searched forums and YouTube to build a cooking oil conversion for a 1980 international Scout with a diesel engine. The Blog documenting the conversion is www.VeggieScout.blogspot.com. After commissioning and graduating in 2007 I deployed to Iraq with Aco 41 BSTB (SAPPER) Oregon National Guard. Upon my return I started my hobby full time and it is now becoming my life's work. We have a lot of ambitions ahead of us to accomplish our goals of sustainable energy and look forward to the trip.

Not all septic inspections are the same
A quick look won’t catch what’s happening inside your system
The real value is finding issues before they turn into repairs

Ignoring your septic system doesn’t save money
What builds up over time won’t fix itself, and issues stay hidden until they get serious
By the time you notice, repairs are already more expensive
Stay ahead with routine maintenance
