Autocover dam wall tiles... Does yours look like the "before" pics? We can fix that!

In our beautiful state of Idaho, the weather takes a toll on pool tile, especially atop dam walls (and weir walls). Replacing this tile when it falls off is more than just an esthetic; replacing this tile also helps to protect the bond beam from potential weather & water damage (a much bigger, more expensive repair).

JLWinter Construction Swimming Pools & Spas will be closed on Monday, May 26th, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, May 27th.

May is National Water Safety Month!

National Water Safety Month is an annual awareness campaign dedicated to promoting water safety and preventing drowning. It takes place every May, just as the weather warms up and people begin to enjoy pools, lakes, rivers, and other bodies of water. The goal of this month is to educate the public about safer practices in and around the water, helping to reduce the number of water-related injuries and fatalities.

Key Water Safety Tips Promoted During This Month:

👀 Constant Supervision: Never leave children unsupervised around water, even for a moment. Drowning can happen quickly and silently. Designate a "Water Watcher" who is solely responsible for supervising children in and around the water and is not distracted by other activities.

🔊 Barriers and Alarms: Install and maintain barriers such as fences around pools to prevent unsupervised access. Consider alarms on doors and gates that lead to the pool area.

🏊‍♂️ Learn to Swim: Enroll yourself and your children in swimming lessons. Learning to swim is a fundamental safety skill.

🎽 Wear Life Jackets: Inexperienced swimmers and anyone on a boat should wear U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets. Do not rely on inflatable toys or water wings for safety.

🫁 Know CPR: Learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) so you can respond in an emergency.

🔎 Be Aware of Your Surroundings: Understand the specific risks of the body of water you are in or near, such as currents in a river or the depth of a pool.

📄 Follow Rules: Obey all posted rules at pools, waterparks, and other aquatic facilities.

🚫 Avoid Alcohol: Do not consume alcohol before or while swimming or supervising others in the water.
