Pink is in our name. This month of October, I want to put it to work. 💗

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pink's Window Services Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale is gifting one free exterior window cleaning, valued at up to $500, to someone touched by breast cancer: someone newly diagnosed, in treatment, a thriver, or a survivor.

My childhood friend Sally Wolf inspired this gift. A thriver and advocate for people living with metastatic breast cancer (MBC), she shows up for herself and so many others.

MBC is stage 4 breast cancer, meaning it has spread to other parts of the body. Its awareness colors are pink, teal, and green.

When Sally was diagnosed, she remembers wanting to get outside and take a walk each day. A close friend reminded her that on days when she didn’t have the energy, “it’s okay to let the sunshine come in through the windows.”

That’s a small comfort we can help with.

Yesterday, a customer asked if we could complete the work before Friday.

The only option was that same afternoon. But my tech had already committed to picking up his son early because our schedule allowed it.

As a single parent, I know how much those moments matter. So I jumped in to help.

Together, we cleaned the windows and gave the entryway a refresh, removing built-up dirt and bugs so their guests would arrive to a clean home.

We also cleaned the light fixtures, complimentary.

The customer got the service they needed, and my tech got to his son on time.
