Our community has an incredible opportunity to support the next generation of athletic talent! 🏀

Do you know someone ages 8–18 who loves basketball or wants to improve their game? For $250, they can learn from an experienced coaching staff, build confidence, develop skills, and be surrounded by positive role models who are invested in helping young people grow both on and off the court.

Concord University Basketball Camp is happening July 20–24 from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM daily, with lunch provided each day.

This is more than basketball — it’s an opportunity to learn from coaches who have spent their careers developing players, building programs, and teaching life lessons.

🏀 Head Coach Jayson Gee brings over 30 years of collegiate coaching experience at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels. Throughout his career, Coach Gee has built successful programs and helped develop players who reached the NBA, including Norris Cole, selected 28th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft and a two-time NBA champion with the Miami Heat, and Gary Trent Jr., selected 37th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft.

Coach Gee’s impact goes beyond basketball. His faith is a major part of who he is, and he uses the game to teach character, discipline, humility, perseverance, and what it means to become a better teammate and person.

🏀 Associate Head Coach Jared Drake brings over a decade of coaching experience with a background in recruiting, player development, and building relationships. His ability to recognize potential, teach the details of the game, and help players grow makes him a valuable part of this program.

Coach Drake also gave us an inside look at Concord University’s state-of-the-art facilities, and it was impressive to see the investment being made into the athletic program and the opportunities available to young players.

🏀 Assistant Coach Bryce Beavers brings a strong playing and coaching background. As a player, he helped lead Harvest Preparatory Academy to a 57-3 record over his junior and senior seasons, including a state championship, before continuing his basketball career at Asbury University. As a coach, he has helped develop players and was part of a Shawnee State program that won 24 games and reached the NAIA National Tournament.

These coaches bring more than basketball knowledge — they bring experience, leadership, and a passion for helping young people reach their potential.

The number of children we're able to help 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🙏 will depend on how many businesses, organizations, and individuals choose to join this effort.

Every year our community🏘️👥 does an amazing job collecting backpacks and school supplies, and those donations are incredibly important. This initiative is a little different. 💡✨ It's about building confidence and giving children the opportunity to walk into school on their first day feeling proud, comfortable, and ready to succeed. 🏫🍎🌟.

Home Harmony & Commercial Cleaning LLC's Featured Business Spotlight 🌟

Some businesses simply serve great food. Others serve a greater purpose. Honeycomb Cafe, owned by Heather Bennett, does both.

When you walk through the doors of Honeycomb Cafe, you're experiencing far more than incredible coffee, handcrafted pastries, and delicious food—you're witnessing the result of a lifetime dedicated to service, excellence, and continuous growth.

As a veteran of the United States military, Heather learned early that personal and professional growth never stops. Her military career instilled the values of discipline, dedication, and the constant pursuit of excellence.

Already holding a degree in Logistics Management and enjoying a successful military career, Heather continued investing in herself. At every duty station, she enrolled in every culinary class available, developing a passion that would eventually become her second career.

During her final military assignment, she further expanded her culinary education by completing a chef certification program through the University of South Carolina. After retiring from military service, she continued her education by attending the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach, a state-of-the-art culinary facility staffed by instructors with experience from some of the nation's premier culinary programs, where she earned her pastry certification.

Like many people, the COVID-19 pandemic changed the direction of Heather's plans. An opportunity to become part of Honeycomb Cafe allowed everything she had worked so hard to achieve to come together. The cafe was originally opened in partnership with Jessica Rush, who was the primary owner. Two years ago, Heather assumed full ownership, continuing to build on the foundation they created together.

Although Bramwell wasn't Heather's hometown, it became the community she chose to call home after retiring from military service. Today, she continues serving that community with the same dedication that defined her military career. She has created a place where quality, hospitality, kindness, and community are evident in every detail.

Ask Heather why she does what she does, and her answer is beautifully simple:

"I love making people happy through food."

That passion shines through in every pastry created, every meal prepared, and in the warm welcome every customer receives. As one season comes to a close, we find ourselves grateful for the opportunities, relationships, and remarkable spaces we've had the privilege to care for. As we gear up for the next season, we wanted to take a moment to highlight one property that truly left a lasting impression on our team a few months back.

We recently had the honor of providing our services for a gracious family in a home that exemplifies thoughtful design and timeless beauty. This nearly 4,000-square-foot residence spans three distinct levels, blending modern construction with traditional architectural elements. From the striking stone accents to the soaring cathedral ceilings, every detail was carefully considered.

At the heart of the home sits a stunning fireplace that serves as the focal point for family gatherings and everyday moments. But what truly made this property unforgettable was the interior design. Every room told its own story, showcasing a level of creativity, intention, and craftsmanship that made us stop and appreciate the vision behind it.

It's not often that we find ourselves pausing between tasks simply to admire the details, but this home inspired exactly that. It was a privilege to help maintain such an extraordinary space, and we're incredibly thankful to the family who entrusted us with its care.

Wrapping up our residential cleaning for the year with only 2 more Commercial Cleanings to go before ending our 2025 season.

We just finished cleaning our last home of the season, and our hearts are full. This amazing family has been with Home Harmony & Commercial Cleaning LLC from the very beginning of our journey, and their loyalty and kindness mean the world to us. They are beyond kind, welcoming, and their home is absolutely beautiful.

Over the years, their home has always felt like such a warm and inviting space, and being able to care for it year after year is truly an honor.
