The termites are swarming! A lot of people think these are flying ants because they are black and termites are typically white. However, in the Spring months when termite colonies start to disperse and look for a new home, the produce a dark coating to protect them from sunlight. This causes them to look similar to ants.While Easter Subterranean termites can do devastating damage to homes. Seeing a swarm isn’t cause to panic. If the termites are swarming outside, there’s no need to worry. But if they are swarming inside and coming out of your walls or baseboards, you might need to give us a call.
