At YellowCat BMX, American made means everything is made, modified or assembled in house, more specifically, garage, by me. Some things like electronic bits and chips are made overseas but the circuit boards are made in Chicago. I program them and assemble the Minnesotan made boxes that they go into. I cut, drill, tap, bend, weld and power coat all of the steel. Why do you need to know that?...
Well, I was diagnosed with cancer, Nov, 2025. I’ve been doing well keeping up with sales and manufacturing however, I will be undergoing T cell therapy on August 14th and will be hospitalized for about 14 days. I;ve been told that due to the nerve damage and immunity side effects that may result, I may not be able to do the manufacturing part of my job for a while. There is a chance that I may not be able to return to manufacturing.
What does this mean to you?? Limited stock. I have 17 Snap and Light units for the Freshpark gate left. Traditionally, that means that I will be out of stock by the end of September. I won’t know when I can return to building the best starting systems until early September but I will let you know when I do.
