We have immediate openings for professional cleaning technicians who take pride in their work, who have great communication skills with customers and co-workers, and who are eager to learn new technologies in equipment and cleaning systems. As a member of Nu-Wave Cleaning LLC, you will be responsible for office cleaning for the health and safety of businesses in the Camden and Gloucester County areas. We offer flexible hours with weekend shifts that can be worked around your schedule!
As a Cleaning Technician, you will perform assigned office cleaning tasks which include: general cleaning of restrooms, offices, break areas, cubicles, conference rooms, and other areas as assigned. Must have the ability to perform basic tasks of trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, etc.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Follows oral and written instructions
- Works effectively individually and as part of a team
- Regular, consistent and predictable attendance
- Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds.
- Repetitive motion involved on a daily basis may include, but not limited to, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting.
- Performs all tasks within proper safety guidelines, company guidelines, and as directed by management
- Follows all company policies and procedures regarding safety, customer service, proper attire, and working conditions such as hours and timekeeping
- Performs janitorial tasks based on defined job specifications and customer requests. These are performed to published schedules and within explained guidelines.
Job Duties:
- Empty wastebaskets and replace liner as needed
- Dust/clean tops of office furniture, desks and tables
- Vacuum all carpeting
- Spot clean soiled areas when needed
- Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals
- Clean counters, mirrors and fixtures
- Sweep and damp mop floor with disinfectant
- Spot clean walls, partitions, and doors
- Refill all restroom dispensers as needed
- Wipe/clean all table tops and chairs
- Wipe/clean vending machines and appliances
- Clean sink and damp mop tile floors
- Clean glass surfaces
- Locks and secures building as needed per client
You will receive orientation and safety training before on-the-job training with your assigned team leader.
