Rats and Mice what are the differences?

Here are some ways to tell the difference between mice and rats:

Size:
Rats are larger than mice, with adult rats measuring 6–10 in long and weighing 0.6–1.5 lb, while adult mice are 3–4 in long and weigh 0.4–0.9 oz.

Tail:
Rats have thicker, hairless, scaly tails, while mice have thin, slightly hairy tails.
Nose:
Mice have triangular noses, while rats have more rounded noses.

Droppings:
Rat droppings are about 1–2 cm long and look like dark brown jelly beans, while mouse droppings are much smaller and look like small, dark brown grains of rice.

Ears:
Mice have more prominent ears relative to their head size, while rat ears are smaller relative to their head size.

Eyes:
Mice tend to have larger eyes in proportion to their heads, while rats have smaller, less prominent eyes relative to their head size.

Fur:
Rats generally have coarser fur than mice.

Behavior:
Mice are usually more inquisitive and might move around quickly, while rats are more cautious and may exhibit hesitation or move more deliberately.

Breeding:
Mice breed more frequently than rats, with a short gestation period and early sexual maturity
