With summer officially around the corner, and with pollen everywhere stretching a lot of times until late September, having your Air-Duct's cleaned is really a good healthy idea.

We at Crown Construction (as we do each year) run the same special discount where if you get us to clean your Air-Duct's, then if you have fireplaces in the home, we inspect them, and clean them absolutely free while we are there set up with our equipment doing the Air-Duct's in your home.

So you're saving yourself $250.00 on the chimney being swept, and $75.00 each on any other chimney's you may have in your house just by getting us to clean the Air-Duct's. 😁

We rid the entire heating and air system of mold, mildew, dust mites, with high powered vacs, and manually brush all supply and trunk lines to make sure we get more than our competitors do just by them relying on their machine to do all of the work for them.

I've cleaned ducts both ways, with some of the companies I've worked for in the past using the air ball/box machine method, and our method of cleaning Air-Duct's is more hands on, more efficient, and a lot more thorough of a job by far than what their machine will ever do if they left it hooked up for 2 days.

Then we spray our sanitizer in each individual supply and return to ensure the proper saturation in the duct work. The sanitizer is good in the system up to 3 years if sprayed correctly throughout all returns and supply lines.

Just recieved a couple of pictures from some Albertville customers (Huge Bama fans and grads of Alabama, love them) Hunter, and Jordan who hired me back in late October of last year to build them a screened in porch out of their carport.
It's good to see them enjoying it on Thanksgiving with their family too...
She's now wanting me to paint it white. I said I gotcha no problem, but we need to let it warm up some then I'll come get it done for y'all. He was like we already got the paint waiting on you.
I tried talking her into letting me stain it or seal it a while back with some clear waterseal instead, cause I thought it would look better with the wood look.
But nope, she has her mind made up that she wants it white, and her dad, husband, nor myself can change it We've all tried. 😂 Soooooo alrighty then, white it'll be very soon.

Here are a few before and after pics of this kitchen that had the old ugly stick down linoleum down that was replaced with 20x20 porcelain tiles.
I have plenty of gray grout, however thought the white grout lines would look better in this particular kitchen, and glad to have chosen that route because it pops better than the gray grout would have.
So, ended up using bright white unsanded grout and I love this unsanded polymer grout and I WILL NEVER use sanded grout again after using this stuff.
This polymer unsanded grout (FOR ME) is the way to go... It's easier to work with, and extremely durable upon curing properly.
This definitely made the old ugly linoleum kitchen floor come to life and look 110% better..

Painted the porch swing I built yesterday black earlier.
Despite a couple of the pictures with the swing looking a brownish color in these pics.
I painted it with two coats of Behr (black high gloss latex exterior paint) and I can already tell before hanging this swing that I'm going to like it a lot better than the maple, amber, yellowish, ( whatever color you want to call that) raw natural DRY appearance look.
I wanted to build it very durable, strong, and I'm satisfied with the end results
You could sit a couple of sumo wrestlers on this thing and let them swing all night long and not worry about a thing. 😂😂 No joke the chain would snap before anything happened to the swing.

It's getting cold, so before you get your fireplace fired up with a nice big fire, give us a call to inspect, and clean your chimney if it needs it.
Recommendation is every other season on chimney cleaning to prevent flue fires. If you haven't had it done then give us a call, we will get it safe and ready to go.

Got the carport/screened porch conversion done yesterday. There are a couple of minor things I'd like to do when I go back to get my 10' step ladder.

Other than that, it turned out just how I had it sketched up on paper before starting the job, and envisioned it to look after giving them the option to go with 4X4 posts and 2x4 boards.

They chose the second option (6X6 posts, 2X6 boards) which without a doubt makes it look beefier, stronger, and more room to sit things in the windows as well.
