I started detailing cars a few years ago as a hobby. At the time, I didn't think anything of cleaning cars for people. The satisfaction I got from seeing a freshly detailed car just inspired me to keep on doing what I was doing. Before I knew it, I was getting requests from friends to do their cars for homecoming, prom, and all sorts of other events. So, at that moment I thought,"I have something
here!" I began charging my friends to detail their cars to cover my costs and to make a little profit. Eventually I learned that there was an established market for auto detailing, mobile detailing to be specific. So, with a little help and encouragement, I decided to go into business for myself and detail all sorts of vehicles for all sorts of people. To me, detailing is much more than just cleaning vehicles, it's about the lifestyle, the relationships I build with my customers, and the experience my customers receive when they get their car detailed with me.
