Water Damage Restoration Technician

To The Rescue is looking for a dependable, hardworking person with some water-damage or restoration experience to join our Birmingham-area team.

We are building for the future and want someone who is interested in learning, growing, and becoming a long-term part of our company.

Applicants should have:

✅ Some restoration, construction, cleaning, or related experience
✅ A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
✅ The ability to lift equipment and perform physical work
✅ A professional attitude and good customer-service skills
✅ Dependability and willingness to learn
✅ Availability for occasional emergency or after-hours work

IICRC certifications are helpful but not required. Training may be available for the right applicant.

We had the honor of providing lunch for the BAMA Association yesterday! It was great connecting with maintenance managers from surrounding cities and sharing more about what we do at To The Rescue!, Mold & Mildew Solutions, and Alabama Soda Blasting

Huge thank you to Biscuit Belly for feeding these hardworking men before they headed back to serving their communities. We were also glad to have the Birmingham Fire and Rescue stop by and grab a bite!

Our area is under a Winter Storm Warning this weekend into early next week. Freezing temperatures significantly increase the risk of frozen or burst pipes. Taking a few simple steps now can help protect your home and prevent costly water damage.

Protect Your Home:
✅ Drip faucets on exterior walls
✅ Keep your heat set above 55°F, even when away
✅ Open cabinet doors under sinks
✅ Disconnect outdoor hoses and shut off exterior water lines
✅ Know where your main water shutoff valve is located

🚨 Warning Signs to Watch For:
Low water pressure, frost on pipes, or unexplained water stains on walls or ceilings.

If a pipe bursts, shut off the water immediately and call To The Rescue! right away. A fast response can significantly reduce damage and help protect what matters most.
