We have had multiple calls today for termite
swarmers. This is great information on how to identify them. Call us if you are having a problem 205-328-1028

PEST ALERT: Subterranean termites, native termite species swarm during the day and are solid black. Identification feature, termites do not have a “waist” between their body parts like ants do. The climate conditions today and the next few days are favorable for termites to swarm from mature colonies to search for new habitats to start new colonies: ground is moist, temperature is right - comfortable and humid.

This is the ideal time for inspecting your house and any wooden structure for termite infestation. I also turn over backyard fallen logs and rocks, and flipped wood mulches in looking for termites, ha, they frequented me most of the locations.
