This Tuscaloosa project with very limited access to the backyard had few challenges going in we needed try and accomplish

1. Fit plunge pool into unused corner of yard that was sloping away

2. Retain as much yard as possible for play

3. Save/retain existing bushes surrounding pool for privacy

4. Manage to use existing dirt from excavation on the project without haul off

5. Fix existing drainage issues from previous landscape work done

We think we managed to succeed in all of them and deliver a unique project in a very limited access area. The pool ended up being a 10’ x 16’ custom rectangle with full width steps, block cantilever coping, and a stacked stone water feature that we brought in some very special/weekend off from school help for! (Seen in photo 4)

The pool is fully automated with salt chlorine generation, natural gas heater, 12v LED lighting, and cleaner system from Hayward Pool Products

Custom large Lagoon shaped steel wall pool in Leeds, AL. This project featured a large tanning ledge/step combo with non skid texture on the steps & ledge. It also has bullnose block cantilever coping and 3 piece slate textured paver in the popular Lions Bridge color from Tremron. The liner is sandstone borderless (full print) from Imperial Pools Inc. and the pool is automated with equipment from Hayward Pool Products. We also installed deck jets to double as waterfall sound ambience and fun playtime for the kids!

18’ x 36’ Custom Rectangle with 4’ x 8’ side step and 6’ x 12’ tanning ledge in Helena, AL. The pool is an open top steel wall vinyl pool with a liner that gives that high end plaster look and has a light texture throughout the entire floor of the pool. The pool is fully automated with Hayward Pool Products and can be controlled via a phone app or the outdoor touchscreen. The pool and the beautiful custom home by UltraBuild LLC Custom Home Building and Renovation turned out great!

20’ x 34’ Mountain Pond steel wall pool in Helena. This one featured a combo wedding cake in pool step/tanning ledge and 2nd tanning ledge at a deeper depth with texture on the steps and ledge. We also installed synthetic turf with flagstone cut in to match the custom outdoor fireplace, seating wall, & patio we installed with the pool. The liner is the sandstone borderless (full print) from Imperial Pools Inc. and the pool is fully automated with Hayward Pool Products equipment including natural gas heat, salt chlorine generator, & color changing led lighting.

Awesome project start to finish in Helena! This one involved a lot but turned out great and was a pleasure to work on. The pool is a 16’ x 36’ architectural rectangle with a full width tanning ledge/step combo on one end and a seating bench across the entire deep end. The coping and decking are a 1.25” Italian paver with a color contrast between the two.

We added three additional covered spaces to the back of what was a mostly flat house to add some depth and give the customer the outdoor living space requested to tie the pool area and home together.

Additional features included were a custom full brick outdoor kitchen with blackstone grill, primo smoker, bull outdoor refrigerator, and the countertops are a black leathered granite. We also installed an 18’ tall x 5’ wide custom brick wood burning fireplace with the same brick as the outdoor kitchen without painting. This area also got remote control flush mount infrared heaters and ceiling fans to keep the covered area near the TV nice and cozy for use in any climate. The ceilings were a stained pine tongue and groove with flush LED recessed lighting.

We installed all new gutters on the additions and the side of the existing house. The customer chose rounded gutters on the downspouts which looked great aesthetically and allowed us to decoratively tie them into 4” drains and flush mount deck drains that we ran off the back of the property for water management around the pool and patio area.

Finished the project off with landscaping and the pool is fully automated with Hayward Pool Products including salt chlorination, natural gas heat, cleaner system, 12v LED lighting and landscape lighting. The liner pattern was Silver Antigua full print borderless from Imperial Pools Inc. and included non slip texture on the steps, ledge, & seating bench.

This one is 18’ x 36’ version of a Full L with 2’ radius corners and a step/tanning ledge combo with texture on the steps. A very sloped almost unusable yard that now is an outdoor living area that’s an extension of the house/covered patio area.

The pool has the Grey Granite pattern liner from Imperial along with the autumn blend color 4” x 8” bullnose coping from Tremron.

A couple of other unique features were the custom stacked stone fireplace and seating wall. They also went with the gray granite diving board and also the powder coated basketball goal. That hopefully gives the kids some play opportunity but still keeps the overall aesthetic.

Pretty tight area to work in on this one but it ended up fitting the area nice. It’s a custom rectangle with full width steps and tight 6” radius corners.

The liner is the sandstone pattern with texture on the steps. This one also has a large chiseled edge stone coping in a grey as well.

20’ x 40’ Lagoon Freeform steel wall pool with vinyl over steel stairs, tanning ledge, & bench seat including non-skid texture on those features. The liner is the borderless sandstone pattern and the 4” x 8” bullnose coping is Sierra color from Tremron.

16’ x 32’ Double Roman style steel wall pool with vinyl over steel stairs & tanning ledge including non-skid texture on those features. The liner is the borderless Azure Mosaic pattern from Imperial and the 4” x 8” bullnose coping is Sierra color from Tremron.

The top step acts as a tanning ledge at a 4” water depth on one end and the tanning ledge on the other end is at the 2nd step depth.

This project got two nicheless color changing 12v (low voltage) LED pool lights, hot tub, & custom firepit matching the pool coping in Sierra color.
