I’m Meg, one of the co-owners of Partners in Grime Cleaning Services.

I am very passionate about our business and I’m also passionate about Breast Cancer Awareness.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I have an amazing opportunity to be part of a competition…Fab over 40. But more than that, I get to help raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc.

I have had 2 lumpectomies and a few years ago had another lump biopsied and a marker put in my breast. The marker helps identify the exact location of the biopsy site on subsequent imaging tests, such as mammograms or ultrasounds. This is crucial for monitoring the area and detecting any changes or recurrence.

It is so important to spread awareness! And support women fighting Breast Cancer.

14 years ago today, we made a decision. In less than 10 minutes we decided to start a cleaning business. The thought was to earn grocery money while our kids were in school. Nothing crazy, a few houses and a few bucks! Little did we know that this business would explode and 14 years and a lot of houses later..our few houses turned into a waiting list for services, our grocery money became our full time income and the clients we have serviced and the friendships we have made…priceless!
