Hey, guess what? Organized people don’t have any super powers. So you can be organized too! 🙌🏾 You just need to set up a system that works for you and your lifestyle. I’m going to share some rules every week, here are the first ones:

1- Always, ALWAYS, AlWaYs, make your bed: Everything will look better. Yes, even your life!✨

2- You can be organized and messy at the same time: You don’t need to have all your pajamas perfectly folded as long as you know exactly where they are. Designate a place for everything and keep like items together.

3- And last, become a minimalist: It’s simple! The fewer things you own, the easier it’s to keep them organized.

If coronavirus has you stuck at home and you find yourself with more time in your hands, there are always small projects you can get done to improve your home.

Working on small projects is great. They not only keep your mind busy and motivated but they also will make your house looks better. And the best part is you can always crack a bottle of wine and shared with your loved ones.

Here are 3 ideas of what you can get done while in quarantine:

1- Rearrange your balcony, patio or any big window that provides daylighting to your home: this is my favorite option! Since we are stuck inside, nothing better than remodeling an outdoor space or indoors next to the biggest window at your place. Natural light improves your mood and wellbeing, right what we need in theses times! Also, it will help you save electricity.

2- Give a fresh new look to your bedroom on a budget: because of quarantine we are spending more time in our bedrooms. That’s why now it’s the perfect time to upgrade it. You don’t have to spend all your saving buying new furniture. Try rearranging your furniture layout and adding tiny but meaningful stuff as pillows, candles and plants.

3- Cleaning around: this is the perfect time to buckle down on the task we all usually avoid doing. Wipe down blinds and windows. Deep clean your fridge and oven. Our bathroom drawers take a lot of daily use, clean them out. Go under your bed! When was the last time you did it? Move the bed and vacuum all the dust. Also, you might be surprised at the things you’ll find there.

We are facing uncertain times, and we all react in different ways. It’s ok to listen to ourselves, do the best we can, and always remember to stay positive!
