Benefits of a ceramic coating:

It is essentially another clear coat I put on the whole exterior of the car that:
*Repels water, dirt, mud, and water-based contaminants
*Provides a glossy look - better than wax and sealants.
*Provides a scratch-proof coating to your paint job. An extra layer to protect against scratching.
*Protects the car's paint from UV rays
*Provides a layer of protection from damage from insects (which could be acidic), tree sap, droppings from birds, and chemical stains.
*Protects the car against rust, particularly during winter months when there is a great amount of salt on the road
*Self-healing properties eliminate the need for constant paint correction
*Better durability than the original paint job and clear coat

I have NEVER said anything personal about detailing EVER, but l came across this and had to share because it is so true! Being in the detailing world for 22 years I have seen things change TREMENDOUSLY. Some cars are coming from dealerships with upgrades and also ceramic coatings and ceramics of all kinds! One thing i had to learn in order to “keep up” in this competive world was I had to suck it up and “adapt” to change! My eyes have been opened so much the last 4 years with all of the new things! I have put myself through so many trainings to make sure I was fully prepared. One thing I will say is this: If you bought your car and it has a ceramic coating or wax on it at purchase or you had one put on it….when considering getting your car detailed, make sure you choose a “well rounded” detailer that has taken the time to train in ceramics and paint correction. There are so many car products with harmful components to ceramics. Make sure your detailer is knowlegable and well rounded. Also make sure if they are waxing or coating that they have the proper “setup” to block the weather elements while completing the service.

I have trained in cermics for 4+ years and paint correction for 8 and I still do not feel well rounded, but I am constantly learning and growing in the detail world! I am far from perfect, but I strive to “keep up” in this crazy side hobby I LOVE! Ceramics are amazing!♥️
