Composting is a fantastic way that folks can help both combat climate change and reduce the pressure on local landfills. Instead of wasting those scraps by throwing them in the trash or down your garbage disposal, compost them! You’ve already paid for them so put them to good use!

Today is National No Dirty Dishes Day 😉
While washing those dishes, reconsider flipping that switch next to your sink. Regular use of a garbage disposal can drastically increase the amount of waste you are pumping into the septic tank. Natural bacteria can't decompose the materials quickly enough, meaning your septic tank will need to be cleaned more frequently so skip the compactor and consider composting.
