This time last year our hearts were breaking as Kelly’s health continued to decline with no answers. In the past twelve months we’ve had to continue living without a big piece of our family and it’s been one of the hardest seasons of my life, but I know my grief pales in comparison to that of Waylon, Dwight and Krystal. This was my little way of honoring her.
Kelly loved a stocking stuffer, a cute little gift, and little bottles of room spray is something she bought me many times. I still have a Christmassy scented spray in my car that will probably stay there long past its last use.
I tossed around many names for Empire Cleaning’s signature scent. I’m sure other choices would be “more professional” or more easily branded as a signature scent for a professional cleaning company. But ultimately I knew “Kel” was the name meant for our Room + Linen Spray, after all, Kelly always did love to add a little luxury to her every day life.
