Berkeley Club Beverages has clarified that the News Week article contained false information regarding a recall. Contrary to the article's claims, their spring water was not affected. The recall was voluntary and only involved purified and distilled water bottles distributed between September 3 and September 6, 2024. The company sources its distilled and purified water from municipal supplies. Berkeley Club Beverages is working with the FDA to address the misinformation, and the FDA has demanded the article's removal. All customers affected by the recall were contacted, and the identified bottles have been destroyed.
