Negative reviews aren't just noise. They're feedback, and sometimes they're a gift.

In this clip from Part 3 of The #2 Septic Podcast, we talk about seeing critical reviews as a chance to tighten your process and set clearer expectations. Shoppers read the negatives. They want to know how you'll handle it when something goes wrong.

Did you know that "flushable" wipes are one of the leading causes of septic system backups? 🚫🚽
Even if the packaging says flushable, these wipes don't break down like standard toilet paper. Over time, they snag, build up, and cause costly blockages in your tank and pipes.

Keep your septic system running smoothly by flushing only human waste and paper. Have questions about what’s safe for your system? Drop them in the comments below! 👇

Part 3 of The #2 Septic Podcast is live! 🎧

I sat down with Ashley Christian of Groundbreaker Marketing to talk about how to handle negative reviews. Over the past four years our team went from around 100 Google reviews to over 1,300 5-star reviews, and we talked about how we got there.

A few things we covered:
✅ Taking the ask off our drivers with an automated thank you and review request that goes out about four hours after the invoice
✅ Making it right fast, like the time our crew was back within 90 minutes to scrub an oil stain off a customer's driveway
✅ Using complaints to fix our process, including how our office now asks every caller what is really going on before we dispatch
✅ Replying calmly and never arguing in public

Know your value, back your team, use discernment, and never respond in anger. We're grateful for every customer who takes the time to tell us how we did, the good and the bad.
