All tra
sh needs to be bagged for pickup, so any trash container will work. Up to 7 bags of trash can be put out for pickup
Please don't leave trash by the street other than on your service day. Trash needs to be placed on street beside the mail box the night before or no later than 8 am on your assigned service day. If you put trash out the night before please make sure that animals can't get in trash over night. Discount Waste isn't responsible for trash that animals may get in or bags of trash left out that may litter your yard. Do not place the trash in the road way! We do not pick up loose trash. We recommend using quality trash bags. Special or Large items
If you have any special or large items such as furniture or appliances,please call Discount Waste office at 864-209-1644 at least 48 hrs in advance of your pickup day to arrange for a special curbside pickup.Large items will be charged to resident for special pickups. Landscape Waste Materials
Resident generated landscape waste is also available and can be pickup as one or all of your 7 bags of weekly trash limit allowed.This includes grass, leaves and small sticks in bags no heavier than 40 pounds each.ITEMS CAN NOT BE STICKING OUT OF BAGS. ALL MATERIALS MUST BE CONTAINED TO BAGS.If you have brush that you can't bag please call our office for special pickup time and additional fee. Unacceptable Household Waste Items
Commercial or industrial wastes,liquids,chemical or explosives of all kinds, paint, motor oil ammunition,pesticides,herbicides,hot coals, propane tanks, fire extinguishers,gasoline,kerosene, or other caustic materials. The household weekly $19.95 trash service doesn't include removal of the following: sod,dirt,tree stumps,construction waste, tires, auto parts, bricks , tiles , concrete or rocks .We have other services to dispose of all the above materials.Call our office today for additional removal fees.
