Loads to Success

Loads to Success We were a special education run laundry program targeting individuals within our district who may have limited access to services. Services are free.

We also support our local Meals on Wheels and Woman’s shelters. Program funded by your donations. We are a Spec. Ed student run laundry service targeting students who do not have consistent access to laundry and clean clothes. We are helping build Success one load at a time!

I am conducting an anonymous survey to quantify my dissertation research topic. It will allow me to ascertain the environmental concerns of Beloit residence/workers. I hope to reach as many people as possible until 4/30/2026. This information will be used to design my dissertation interview question...

This will be my last time posting on behalf of Loads to Success. It’s been an amazing experience developing this program with the kids. It inspired me to start up Beloit Unified Champion School Program at BMHS. The impact it has had on all students has so exceeded my imagination. Here is a few pictures of our final day together. I will start a new position with Project Search Janesville. Alexis Haenel and Kathy Zelenko Lincicum will take over loads to success. Thank you all for your support over the past 5 years. Together we have made a difference. Sincerely, Lori Lange

For anyone that has ever worked with a autistic child that writes only hand over hand, today was a big day for hope. I had a student finally drag the crayon from one location (8 pennies) to where I pointed (the number 8 ). Although it’s very light, it is there for sure. All the way across. Point is, NEVER give up! Thank you Alex for this amazing going away gift. It’s one of the most awarding milestones I’ve ever experienced. Top dark line hand over hand. Bottom light mark- student on his own.

When you belong to a school community, sometimes you make friends with someone that has a dad that lives in Florida who sends you shells. Thanks Zane for being my friend.

The BMHS Wrestling team has heard about how awesome our students are in the ID rooms- as a result, they are making the time to stop in and introduce themselves. There is nothing more powerful then hearing someone say how they wanted to meet you. Thank you Owen West for taking the time to meet Markhii today. We think he’s pretty awesome too. December 10th will be my last day working for the School District of Beloit. Therefore I will not longer be facilitating this program. My colleagues Alexis Haenel and Kathy Zelenko Lincicum will be taking over the Loads to Success program at Beloit Memorial. I am so honored to be a part of this program, working and developing job skills with the Intellectually Disabled population. I have learned so much from these individuals over the years. It is wonderful to see how they stepped up to serve those in the Beloit community over the years. Together we provided assistance to approximately 1,000 individuals. I want to thank all of you that have followed and supported us on this journey. Without you and your financial contribution over the years, we could not have achieved this much success. Together we made a difference.
