Recently we have had some quarters that were bent and got stuck in the coin drop. Please be careful to make sure that coins are not only the correct denomination (quarters only), but that they are not bent or smashed on one side. This blocks the coin drop making the machine unusable until it can be removed safely.

The circuit breaker for the AC unit needs to be replaced which is why there have been so many temperature fluctuations. Sorry for some of the hot days when there seems to be no AC. If you ever run into any problems please call me first or read the special instructions that are posted for issues.

Two of the new washers were down because the door locking mechanisms were broken. Once the door locks itself during the wash cycle you have to wait for it to unlock automatically when it finishes. If you force the door open, it will eventually break the mechanism and prevent others from using the machine. ERR2 is for a non working lock, machine won’t turn on. If you ever find your machine locked up please call and leave a message so we can fix it without breaking anything. You will be reimbursed for any costs. One of the washers is leaking right now, having it looked at so it is temporarily offline. The other washer outer covering has been replaced and I really appreciated the person responsible coming forward to make things right. I posted an explanation about the sticky Extras buttons problem that can occur if you add extra rinse or heavy soil to your washing selections. If this happens just flick the button again to release it otherwise the machine will not start. 00.0 will be displayed and nothing happens until you release the stuck button and hit the Start button. We are also getting a new coin change machine that will handle up to $20 bills. Thanks for using the Laundry Basket 🧺

So sorry about the building being so cold. The furnace control panel needs to be replaced and should be working again by Friday. Please stay safe as we deal with these weather and COVID related issues. Have faith, the Lord is watching over us.

The Laundry Basket will stay open during the Covid-19 situation - please wash your hands, keep a safe distance from other users and use the cleaning solution provided to wipe off any touched surfaces. Thank you for helping all of us get through this unfortunate situation.

Thanks for keeping the Laundry Basket clean and letting me know about any problems. I'm clearing out the vending machine so all items are only 50 cents except for the coffee mocha. The cooler needs a recharge so don't expect ice cold drinks. If any item doesn't drop down please don't bang on the front - just let me know and I will be happy to reimburse you. Or you can try it again and you might get two items. If a washer doesn't empty out completely (or displays ERR 2) - then the drain is clogged up and I need to clean it out. Again, please call me if this happens and I will reimburse you. This happens if a lot of sand and grit (probably from the lake area) is put into the wash. Use the sink to pre-wash off the extra sand, gravel or whatever. Thanks - David (owner).

Please turn off the sink faucet completely- the sink trap tends to leak and spills onto the floor. Thanks for keeping the laundry running smoothly. 🎶👍

You might have noticed how much cleaner your clothes get without using a lot of harsh soap. This coupled with the FREE WIFI makes for a better Laundromat experience. Sorry about the vending machine, it will be fixed as soon as I can install a new keypad - they sent my order to Austin by mistake. Thanks for being patient - the Kettle is a great place to eat in the meantime.
