All, heading to Asheville on Wednesday for relief work with Rob Allred. Burnt lint from inside a dryer cabinet. Very dangerous situation that could have resulted in a fire. PLEASE make sure you check this annually. Some dryers are better than others in this area, but regardless, 1 time a year for a vent cleaning and dryer cabinet cleaning is recommended. Don't risk it!

Did you know you can void your on your dryer by not having the vents cleaned properly?! For example, do you own a ? Take a look at the owners manual... as noted it is extremely important to have regular maintenance as we as the correct vent design in place to have maximum efficiency and safety! NEW DRYER - VS- All Clear Dryer Vents annual performance checks!!! Hey Folks! Trust your new year is off to a good start! We have had 2 customers in the past week tell us they went out and bought new dryers because their old one was not drying well or at all. Upon our basic inspection we found in both cases that the roof vent was blocked with a significant amount of lint. This was 100% root cause for performance issues. I guess what, the way they figured it out, the new dryer was posting air flow error codes! SO THEY SPENT THOUSANDS AND PROBABLY DIDN'T NEED TO!
So what I want to encourage folks to do is give us a call! $100-$200 dollars for annual checks is way better than $2k -$3k on a new washer and dryer. SO don't wait! call or txt us today! 704-558-5557

Can you spot the problem in the photos? Customer called and said they had water collecting under their dryer and it would run 3 and 4 times and never dry. Upon inspection we found "slinky" style flex duct running from the dryer, through the wall and floor into the crawl space and out the wall. It had collected probably 1 gallon of water and was 100% blocked with soaked lint. This would eventually burn out the dryer. It is also not code compliant. We installed brand new hard pipe and matched it with a InOvate Dryer Products Wall Vent. This homeowner is set for a very long time now. Give us a call today to clean your lines as well as inspect. IN ATTIC IN 2 STORY HOME! Can't stress it enough... take a look around your home. If your vents are missing flaps or flaps are slightly open, DO NOT WAIT TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE! This is what can happen! This issue became a much larger issue becuase the outside vent was not replaced with a good animal resistant cover. ...get it done before spring!
