Getting the stalls cleaned up after a busy weekend. I can smell the lovely aroma of our new apple scent in the automatic bay. It looks like a beautiful week to wash a car, tractor, camper, spray a kid down 😅. I am 6.5 weeks post mastectomy surgery so you should be seeing more of me and less of my husband at the wash. Have a great week ❤️

ALL STOCKED BACK UP!!

Keeping all the Quest products flowing in the touchless automatic and we’ve added to the new Berry Blitz foaming brush. New arrivals this weekend that you should see and smell
-Fuji Green Apple high pressure soap
-Purple Power pre soak

1000 lb of salt restocked over the past few days as well to keep the spotless water system in order with softened water.

A bit of housekeeping and maintenance this past weekend. New Flag out front and the warranty Credit Card Tap came in so we got that installed in Self Serve Bay 4 so don’t be shy.

The self serve Outside Bay 1 is back up and running as well

Almost got the shampoo/vac shampooing again but waiting on a solenoid valve to allow for product to flow.

Warning: mechanical room nerd out.

After fighting with the presoak system for the manual bays since we took over in November we paid a visit to the 623 wash in Delton to check out their mechanical room. During that time we discussed the presoak system and determined the pressure regulator was not meant to be in the product line but to regulate the pump instead.

New plumbing arrangement and new regulator in the right location has the presoak working now.

Another boring facility update. We’ve added a cryptotap credit card option to the Scrub N Vac!!

Same count up feature as the self serve bays and as things warm up we’ll be getting to the instructions and aesthetics of the vacuums.

Sadly it’s just a Vacuum right now as we take inventory of the parts to repair the shampoo side of things.

Good Morning. I am Stephanie (where the name Steph's Buff and Wash came from). My husband usually does all the posts about the maintenance side of things. That's what keeps your vehicles clean. The important stuff.

I am going to post for a moment from the heart of the operation. In January, shortly after we bought the wash I found out I had breast cancer. Two lumpectomy procedures haven't worked so its looking like a mastectomy will be happening soon. Maintaining the wash is now how I keep my sanity from the life side of things. I just wanted to say I appreciate all your love and support in keeping the car wash going. We appreciate the feedback good and bad as we try to improve. The phone calls or texts letting us know something is off line helps us improve every single day. Thank you! 🩷

Enjoying the warm weather to get some spring cleaning done. Tried out a new bay cleaner on the closed bays to brighten things up a bit.

Now when time permits we will get the outside wall and touchless bay cleaned up.

More brightening of things up coming very soon so stay tuned
