Papillion Sanitation will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. All residential trash, recycling and yard waste routes will be delayed by one day for the entire week. Friday customers will be serviced Saturday, May 30. Regular schedule resumes Monday, June 1. Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day! Most Valentine’s Day candy boxes are made from paperboard or cardboard, both of which are recyclable in most of our service areas. To ensure materials are processed properly, please remove any non‑recyclable components, such as plastic trays, wrappers, ribbons, or metallic coatings before placing the box into your recycling cart. Clean, dry cardboard helps maintain the quality of the recycling stream and supports the creation of new, reusable materials.

By recycling your Valentine’s Day packaging, you help reduce waste, conserve resources, and support Waste Connections’ ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship. Small actions like these add up across our communities, helping create a cleaner, more sustainable future for everyone.
